Musica Stampata
I am the lead editor and communications officer at Musica Stampata, a bilingual (Italian and English) online magazine and community space dedicated to popular music cultures, which I founded in 2021. The project bridges scholarly and popular approaches to music writing, making diverse resources accessible to both researchers and general readers. I curate the magazine’s editorial voice, work closely with contributors throughout the writing and editing process, and select and publish content across our website and social media.In 2022, I oversaw the entire publication process of a collection of essays, L’ambiguo dominio del suono: I coordinated editors and the design process, and managed the timeframe, finances, marketing and distribution, liaising with bookshops and supporting the publication on social media. That same year, I organized a two-day online workshop on music writing featuring leading Italian journalists and academics.
