I am a popular music researcher and lecturer. My work revolves around questions of history, memory and heritage, with a focus on how the popular music’s past is curated, represented and mobilised across different practices, including museum exhibitions, recordings and media outlets 

Since 2024, I have been teaching Popular music and mass culture; Popular music, gender and sexuality, and Introduction to visual culture at John Cabot University (Rome, Italy)

I hold a Ph.D. from Goldsmiths with a thesis titled “Beyond Retromania: Reimagining Historical Consciousness in British, Italian, and Argentinian Popular Music”

My work has appeared in academic journals, edited books and online platforms (Popular Music History, Treccani, Siamomine, openDemocracy, KABUL Magazine, Agenzia X, NOT/Nero on Theory, Musica/Realtà)
